FROM 5TH NOVEMBER 2010 TO 30TH JANUARY 2011

In 2006 several professionals specializing in art and design from Villedieu-les-Poêles and the region of the Bay of the Mont Saint Michel grouped together to form the Association "Villedieu M.A.D.E" (Métiers d’art - Design - Export) (innovators of art).

Villedieu M.A.D.E. has been set up to develop the trade of art and design of excellence:

• To be aware of the wide range of craftsmanship of the members:  (metal, wood,leather, photography, ceramics, jewellery, tapestry, restoration, etc.) by valuing the quality and the creativity.
   
  
• To take part in the promotion and communication : exhibitions, trade fairs and culturale events
   
• To create a professional database (presentation of the workshops and products) on the internet.
   
  
• To dress the shop window Villedieu M.A.D.E situated in Villedieu les Poêles (the items produced in the members workshops are on perment display)
   
• To research new markets favouring the liaison with other businesses (creation of new products or product lines).
  

Villedieu M.A.D.E consists of a network of professionals which provides an exchange of ideas, to be informed of the art and design trades, latest designs and to benefit from the support of the national "SEMA" : (Art workshops of France)
