The Ferme de l'Hermitière is a cider farm situated in Normandy in the county of La Manche between Granville and Villedieu-les-Poêles, not far from the Mont Saint Michel. It is a family business passed down from father to son for six generations. Cider, Calvados and Pommeau is produced here, also apple juice, apple jelly and cider jam from the fruit that is collected from their orchard.
Discover the cider ecomuseum and the farm and share in the passion and savoir faire of Jean-Luc Coulombier, producer and cider-maker. There is a collection rare pieces displaying the rural life during the Middle Ages up to the present day.
Here you can have an insight into the history and evolution of the techniques used in the fabrication of cider and calvados which has survived since the family first settled in Normandy.
